AJ’s promoter (Eddie Hearn) has said that the boxer could fight Wladimir Klitschko in October- providing that Tyson Fury gets stripped of his world title belts.
Earlier on Twitter, he confirmed the news that he had messaged Klitschko’s team about the potential fight:

Anthony Joshua managed to claim the IBF World Heavyweight after fury vacated it last year. He also managed to defend the title against Dominic Breazale earlier this year. Currently, AJ’s next fight is due to take place on November 26.
Klitschko was due to fight Fury on October 29. But it was unfortunately called off due to Fury being ‘medically unfit to fight’. In a statement, his promoters said:
“Tyson has, this week, been declared medically unfit to fight. We and Tyson wish to express our sincerest apologies to all those concerned with the event and all the boxing fans who had been looking forward to the rematch. Tyson is understandably devastated by the development.
“We will be making a further statement in due course. Until then, we ask that Tyson and his family be given the privacy and the space he needs to recover during this difficult time.”
The Ukrainian had gone over a decade without a loss- until Fury beat him in December 2015.
