I’ve got a bit of a man-crush on Anthony Joshua. He’s an absolute beast and comes across as an absolute gentleman. HASHTAG StayHumble.
So, I’m massively excited for his upcoming fight with Klitschko – and whilst Klitschko is also an amazing fighter, I don’t think his style will match well with Joshua’s power. That being said, I have about as much boxing knowledge as my Nan.
Another fight that everyone wants to see is Joshua Vs Wilder…and it seems to be on the cards!
Promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed:
“Our aim for Joshua is after Klitschko to fight Deontay Wilder”
But a problem stands in the fact that in if he does win the fight against Klitschko, and wins both the WBA and IBF belts, he will most likely not be able to hold on to them as the mandatory challengers will be Kubrat Pulev and Luis Ortiz.
Though, keeping the titles doesn’t seem to be a problem for Joshua:
“We understand that we can’t hold on to the belts forever because, if we do, we won’t be in the fights that we want to be…
No disrespect to Pulev, but after Klitschko, people are going to be wanting Anthony Joshua to fight Pulev – a guy who Klitschko knocked out in four or five rounds”.
I’ve got to agree, I would love to see the Joshua Vs Wilder fight.
First, though, bring on Klitschko! Who are you backing?
