BBC Facing Criticism For Broadcasting “The Real Housewives Of ISIS”…

Ouch, I can imagine that a lot of people are p*ssed off after this was recently aired.

BBC 2 are currently facing a giant sh*tstorm after they broadcasted a new show entitled “Revolting” on Tuesday evening. Composed of controversial satire clips, it certainly makes watching TV with the family extremely awkward.

You can check out a clip here:

The women featured, Afsana, Mel, Zaynab and Hadiya, are women who’ve escaped the UK to travel to Syria.

During the episode, one of the women bursts into tears, saying that her husband “…won’t stop talking about his 40 virgins.” However, other parts of the clip made several people extremely angry.

For example, a woman comes in wearing a suicide vest, proceeded by the other girls saying that she looks “gorgeous”. Since the episode aired, it has been shared over 250k times on Facebook. Damn, that’s more than most of my posts on here.

“Satire is the best weapon against Isis. They thrive off war, hatred and division. Laughter and ridicule is far more threatening to them. I don’t think this is any way aimed at Syria – it’s aimed at reducing ISIS to what they really are – pathetic.”

Fair point I guess. Do you think that it was offensive? Answer in the poll below.
