Tyson Fury was undoubtably one of the greatest boxers of all time. But in a recent announcement via Twitter, he has given a shocking statement.
Earlier today at 12:55pm, he said to his followers that he will be retiring from the sport. With a 25-0 record, he has certainly been an inspiration to many others within Boxing. However, due to the allegations of Drug abuse that he has recently faced, Fury decided to “call it a day” and quit the sport for good.
I must admit that this won’t be a surprise for most fans. After Eddie Hearn claimed that Tyson would never fight again due to mental health issues, I was kinda expecting this to happen sooner or later.
Tyson Fury retires from boxing at 28.
Thanks for the memories…https://t.co/JE62D7NQRE

If Tyson Fury does stick to his word and retire, then we wish him all the best. But no matter what, his controversial character will always be remembered.
Do you think he should’ve retired? Let me know in the comments.
