As Conor McGregor has a boxing license, Floyd stated that this was the only opportunity that could tempt him back into the ring. Mayweather, who retired after sustaining a perfect 49-0 record said initial talks with McGregor’s representatives had already taken place.

Conor McGregor has a boxing license in the US State of California – making it legal for him to box there. However, his contract with the UFC means that a co-promotion may have to be involved.
