Here’s Our Thoughts On Battlefield One: Review

Battlefield One is probably the most anticipated game of the year. So after being sent a copy, I thought that it would be a great idea to review it, and let you guys know what I think.

Compared to Battlefield 3 + 4, I must say that it’s a massive improvement in terms of plot quality and storyline. After being enticed in a World War I scenario, it is quickly apparent that the prospect of war never changes- despite the technological advancements that we have today.

After playing on my PS4 for several hours, it becomes quickly apparent that people will not be disappointed when picking up a copy of the game. With 64 player battles, and lots of options within cool settings, one can’t help buy enjoy themselves in a shooter.

The Campaign

This is probably my favourite part of the whole game. After all, they tried to attempt something completely unique in comparison to the other games within the franchise.

The general idea of “Campaign” is that there are multiple war stories (focusing on different battle’s and events). I’m not gonna lie, even the prologue is pretty sick.

As you are plunged into the battleground as a “Harlem Hellfighter”, you are constantly under pressure to complete the mission. As your character dies, you enter the body of a new soldier. Although this may sound unappealing to some people, I find it really cool.

With Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare just around the corner, it will be interesting to see how these two compare in terms of sales & user enjoyment once released. If you haven’t already seen it, you can check out the trailer here:
