This is just brilliant…
Bahamas sprinter, Shaunae Miller, certainly didn’t hold back when it came to her 400m race last night in which she achieved a gold medal.
Allyson Felix, USA, was the favourite to win the race as she was on course to secure her 5th gold medal at the games. But just as she was about to cross the finish line, Miller did a spectacular bellyflop.
Shaunae managed to cross the finish line at 49.44 secs, whilst Felix achieved 49.51 seconds. In a recent interview, Miller said:
“The only thing I was thinking was the gold medal and the next thing I know I was on the ground,” Miller, 22, said. “It was just a reaction.”
