If you’re going to steal from a photo booth, you might want to consider wearing a balaclava – or, at least, something to hide your face unless the idea is to become a social media embarrassment.
A photo booth took photos of a guy who stole $75 out of the machine at Funway Amusements arcade and bowling alley in Batavia, Illinois.
When the guy tried to open the booth’s cash drawer, it started to take photos of the unsuspecting tea leaf.
“The machine is designed to take photographs when it senses tampering to the cash drawer,” Batavia police said.
The theft happened on 25 November, but it took a few months to repair the machine causing a delay in the case.
