Plans For a New Harry Potter Trilogy!

I’m not ashamed to admit it, I love Harry Potter. The news that they are making another one has given me a Half-blood Prince.

The best thing about it, too, is that Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson will be back together for it!

As Harry Potter insider, Jim Hill, reavealed:

“They want this trilogy of movies to have the actors that we know and love from the original films, that we watched grow up, as adults.”

I mean, Eddie Redmayne in ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ was OK…but can he pull faces like this?

Warner Brothers have bought the rights to J.K. Rowling’s play, ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ (which is currently sold out until February 18th!), and plan to make three more films!

I’ve personally seen the play, and so for those who haven’t seen it, it’s very good. I mean, it’s good enough to make some people pay £5000 just to get to watch it! I genuinely saw a ticket going online for that :s

The films, like the play, will be set 20 years after the original films, and the trio will be playing their original, now adult, characters.

“And, of course, they’re hiring a bunch of new, younger actors to play their children with the hope that, if we can lean on J.K., maybe there’ll be The Cursed Adolescent.”

The story is based upon Harry’s son, Albus Potter, struggling to live up to his family legacy. I mean, Harry is kind of a big deal.

The bad news, however, is that we’ll likely have to wait until 2026 for the first instalment! Long. Oh well, I spose we’ll have to stick with Eddie Redmayne and his Fantastic Beasts for a little while longer!
