I must admit, I was fairly neutral with the whole Brexit situation. After all, I could see arguments for both sides of the debate. However, the president of the European Union recently made a promise to give all EU countries free wifi and 5G for member countries.
You may be thinking that we will get to enjoy some of these cool benefits before article 50 is activated and we leave the European Union. But as these WIFI plans won’t be in place until 2020-2025 ish, we will be long gone.
‘We propose today to equip every European village and every city with free wireless internet access around the main centres of public life by 2020,’ Juncker said at the annual State of the Union address in Strasbourg.
As you can imagine, a lot of people in the UK are annoyed that we won’t have access to free wifi all over the country.
