Conor McGregor will be returning to the Octagon on November 12 in order to fight Eddie Alvarez for UFC 205.
For this fight, the Irishman is hoping to become the third two-weight champion in UFC history. If successful, he will follow in the footsteps of Randy Couture and BJ Penn. He would also be the first person to hold both titles at the same time.
Earlier, Dana White announced that this fight would headline the November showcase at Maddison Square Garden, New York.
The fight will be the first UFC card in New York- as they have been in a long legal battle to get the sport legalised by the state.

Conor McGregor is a certified lunatic. Fighting Eddie Alvarez less than 3 months after that war. I wish him luck. Fight will be nuts.
